A UK-wide Counselling Panel

Overland offers a nationwide counselling panel as part of its wider range of rehabilitation provision.

Quality and Coveragee

Our counselling panel covers every UK region. All counsellors are accredited by the UKCP or BACP and have undertaken a minimum of 450 hours counselling training in addition to 450 hours of supervised practice over a three year period.

Why Counselling?

Counselling can be of significant benefit for a wide range of problems in including adjustment to trauma, depression and stress. Counsellors may have a number of approaches to therapeutic working including humanistic, transactional and integrative methods.

Governance

Governance for our mental health networks follows the same approach as all of our rehabilitation provision. Practitioners and therapists complete assessment forms that are outcome focused and this emphasis on functional outcome is carried through in to the treatment programmes. Progress is measured against goals set and data is kept on the performance of all practitioners.

Governance and panel selection is managed by Jo Crofts who is an extremely experienced and well-regarded psychologist who has worked in the rehabilitation sector for many years.
