Return to Work Plans

Return to work planning is a component of Overland Health’s worksite assessment which provides strategies to assist developing a feasible timeframe and list of suitable duties to enable a graded return to work.

This service is carried out by an occupational rehabilitation consultant, who will assess and set goals for an injured worker, based on the availability of suitable duties within the work place. These goals will be set in conjunction with the employer and employee to ensure that while business needs are met, the injured worker remains supported with structured and guided timeframes and with appropriate physical restrictions as per their injury recovery or medical status.

Through Return to Work Planning, one can aim to achieve an increase in an injured worker’s activity and promote an earlier RTW through structured increase and monitored improvement in functional capabilities and performance.
